This weekend I’ll be providing consultations for the Simon / RIAI Opendoor Campaign.

This is where for a €55 donation to the Simon Community (tackling homelessness across Ireland); I provide an hours architectural consultation.

As the post earlier said these slots went incredibly fast and there’s a wide range of projects I’ll be discussing on two full days on Saturday and Sunday:

• New houses
• Extensions
• Porch
• Cottage restoration

They’re hard days but it does feel as at the end you’re giving a little back. This year seems to be the best so far with bookings still coming in (for other architects) and currently 1401 consultations booked across Ireland and €79,000 raised already. This is a record amount raised and the highest number of consultations booked (beating last year’s figures of €68,000 and 1280 consultations).
