If you are a builder on one of my projects, all you have to do are 3 things to keep me happy:

1. Read

Have a good look and understand all the drawings and specifications. Everything that you need to complete the build should be on them. Look at them throughout the build; this includes all the details as well as the General Arrangement Drawings. If there’s a material that you need it should be detailed in the specification.

2. Think

You need to be thinking. And you need to be thinking ahead. Todays build is a lot different to the past and requires careful sequencing in order that abortive work does not occur.

3. Ask

If you are in any doubt whatsoever or require any clarification on any matter then please ASK!
