This was told to me by a person I knew a few years back who was building a house and was at the stage of getting inspections by the ‘draughtsman/engineer/architect’ – no names…
The client was upstairs in the house and had not arranged to meet with the ‘draughtsman/engineer/architect’; the ‘draughtsman/engineer/architect’s car pulls up and the client can see him from the first floor window and was just about to wave to him.
The ‘draughtsman/engineer/architect’ pulls up, winds down the window, looks out of the car window at the house, winds the window back up, reverses and drives away.
Is this the type of site inspections the consumer should be paying for under the costs recommended by Phil Hogan under S.I No. 9 of 2014?
You mean the ‘draughtsman/engineer/architect’ stopped the Car?
So it was a lot better than a drive by….lol
Ha like it 🙂
