When you’ve been running websites for a while, the stats begin to get quite interesting.
And if you’re running an architectural practice I think the following year-on-year statistic is definitely the most interesting.
Throughout the year, the visitors to my website are reasonably static with a fall-off during the summer months, this would tie in with people being outdoors more and the months in which planned construction work is actually happening.
There’s then a rise in November with a drop in December when everybody gets ready for Christmas.
Then there’s a massive surge of interest in January where people at home, thinking of the construction projects they’d like to undertaken in warmer weather.
The graph below shows this trend:
But whats amazing is that this trend happens year after year, after year, after year (as shown below):
So statistically, if you’re thinking about undertaking a construction project; January is the time you are most likely to set the wheels in motion.
And if you’re thinking of ‘setting the wheels in motion’ for a project in the West of Ireland (CLICK HERE FOR A MAP OF MY TERRITORY), then please CONTACT ME…
The earlier that you can get the process rolling the better. January is a good time to start so that when the whether gets right you are not waiting around on the paper work and other things before you start building, you can hit the ground running.
Agreed, I’ll do a post in February seeing how busy January was – good indication if economy is improving in Ireland
