Sometimes you see something that really takes you back in time and this did it for me this morning…
It probably wouldn’t make any sense unless you were there but sit back and enjoy ‘A day in the life of the Oxford School of Architecture 1985’
Although I was there in ’85 (finishing degree course), I have no recollection of this, nor were any of my peers in the film – my guess is that it was a first year psychology project.
It’s great to see the tutors and amazingly some of them 27 years later are still working in the School and sadly some of them are no longer with us. Therefore a big respect goes to the following for still educating the young architectural minds of what is now Oxford brookes University:
Byron Mikellides – Emeritus Professor
Paul Proudman – Associate Lecturer
John Stevenson – Associate Lecturer
Anyway, enjoy – it was good to be a part of it both as a student and on the staff roll for a while (teaching GABLE CAD as part of and following my Diploma thesis)
And a special thanks to The Oxford Brookes University YouTube Channel
I left the year before. It all looks like so long ago….and hair? What were we thinking?
That’s because it was a long time ago! 😉
Yes, the hair, brilliant!
