It’s becoming apparent that there are a lot of ‘non-architects’ out there providing ‘Architectural Services’
So why should you choose an architect?
And then when you’ve decided on an architect – why should you choose Mark Stephens as yours?
To help I’ve put together THIS HANDY PDF ON WHY YOU SHOULD CHOOSE AN ARCHITECT AND WHY CHOOSE MARK STEPHENS ARCHITECTS… (downloads in new window (614kb)
Below are what a few other websites say on this subject:
Houzz: What Can an Architect Do For You
RIBA: Why use an architect…
I would love to hear from other architects who have any suggestions that should be included on a sheet of this type…
Hi Mark,
I’ve put the following Houzz link on my Facebook page. Most comments there indicate that clients feel architects are expensive – not good value for money. You’ve addressed these in your information sheet which I feel the Houzz article doesn’t.

Hi Teresa
Many thanks, I’ll include this link at the bottom of the post.
I think the main problem is that clients are comparing ‘expensive’ architects with ‘cheaper’ others; this is without considering what the benefits could be or fully understanding the advantages.

You are right Mark!
