The architects equivalent of Uma Thurman coming back to food on table at Jack Rabbit Slims…

Remember in Pulp Fiction when Mia (Uma Thurman) returns to the table at Jack Rabbit Slims to see the food waiting for her at the table? :

Mia: Don’t you just love it when you come back from the bathroom and find your food waiting for you?

Vincent: We’re lucky we got anything at all. I don’t think Buddy Holly’s much of a waiter.

Well the architects equivalent is when he/she goes on holiday with a job barely started and returns to see (although not finished food on a plate) a huge amount of work completed while (although not in the restroom) taking a break of a few weeks.

Anyway, analogy over: here’s a few piccies of the job in question, when I left there wasn’t even foundations poured. Luckily for me, have great person to take the reins while away (Structural Engineer Paul Cuddy):

And Mia didn’t get to have a nice dessert ready for her too, as this nicely done Part M compliant wheel chair ramp on another job started while away and ready to eat on return:
