I’ve posted something similar to this previously but it’s imperative that if your planning permission is running out (Ireland only) (ie within say 6 months) that you can now extend this permission by a maximum of a further 5 years.
The form is straightforward and doesn’t require any drawings or maps; the link below gives the version that Mayo County Council uses (refer to your own Council website if different):
An acceptable and accepted reason for the time extension is ‘Economic Reasons’.
Be warned however that the Council can apply current Planning rules on the time extension and if anything doesn’t comply with the current development plan then they are at liberty to refuse the application.
