This one is concerns the possible demolition of a house and it’s unauthorised status without planning permission.
Interestingly, the planning fee to the local authority for the demolition of a house is €80 but the fee for a new house is only €65!

As a point of note, some planning authorities require the planning fee of €80 where partial demolition of a house or extension is required to make way for a new extension or remodelling of an existing dwelling.
Thanks. You’re dead right, I think I’ll admend the note. I’m not sure whether it’s part of the planning acts but I remember one council saying if the demolition >40m2 then pp is required.
