Transition Year (TY) in Ireland is where students between junior and leaving Certificate take a year working on other projects and include some work experience before starting the leaving Certificate. The students are usually around 16-17 years old.<\/p>\n

This year the students working with us are focusing just on learning and using SketchUp. This year we have students from three different schools and it’s either for a day a week or a solid week depending on the school.<\/p>\n

Below is the resulting animation Matthew completed in his time at the office – he was tasked with transferring one of our Passive Houses (that’s been granted planning and is hopefully on site next year) onto SketchUp.<\/p>\n
