Well the clients to this double-ended extension to a 1990’s Irish dormer bungalow have moved in and my the house is warm.<\/p>\n

Here are the features:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Extensions at both ends, one end curved walled with curved barges the other curved roofed.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Highly insulated and airtight construction<\/p>\n

\u2022 Provisional BER at B2 but forecast to be A3\/B1 subject to final airtightness test<\/p>\n

They’ve only just moved in and there is still some work to do with the mezzanine & landing but overall the project has gone well.<\/p>\n

It’s important to say that a self-build project of this type will not be possible after March 1st this year as self-builders will not be able to complete extensions >40m2.<\/p>\n
