I’ve written previously on the concept that the design must start with the survey<\/a> This was in the context of working on an existing house but the same can also be said about working on a blank site for a new house.<\/p>\n

The movie below is pretty interesting as it shows the OSi map with my survey data superimposed. What’s pretty cool is that the software (VectorWorks LandMark) can interpret the 3 dimensional spot heights and convert each of the points into contour lines and a meshed model of the site.<\/p>\n
