    Does this not tend to occur more on private/residentail builds as making changes to commercial structures is not that easy? Having said that what do we know, once we have done the basement, we are gone!

      That’s true, it’s what I have the most experience in. It’s also more prevalent in self-builds rather than main contractor led projects

        Fully understand your point about self build.Just watching Grand Design shows how many self builders are always changing their mind as they go along. Must be very frustrating from an Architects point of view.
