I’ve been wanting to write this for a while, an advice note to give to contractors and sub-contractors to try and get them to be proud of their work. It’s a follow-up to the post on The German word for the Art of Building – Baukunst where builders should take pride in their work and for them “not to apologise if measurements are out by a couple of millimetres – it’s done again until it’s right.”

Hi Mark, If you don’t mind, I have an advice post suggestion for you! I’m an architecture student soon to be on the hunt for a part 1 placement, could you maybe write a post about what employers expect in a portfolio, and how to go about getting a placement? If you don’t want to, thats fine too 🙂
