I’ve been doing these a few years now on this blog and it’s interesting looking back on them:
What’s interesting as you look over the years are the projects that are being designed, those going in for planning, those paused for one reason and another and those that are completed. And it is to all of the clients, past, present and future that I thank you.
So, what are the images and projects of this year?
This extension was completed in County Clare:
As was this extension in County Roscommon (tear sheet below):
I passed the RIAI Conservation course and I am now a Conservation Accredited Architect (Grade III); plus we have a couple of great conservation projects on the go for 2013.
There are projects going on for planning as I write and there are a few on site and scheduled for completion next year:
I went on great study trip to Rome where I tweeted and blogged throughout:
I bought a lovely new bike and restored another:
We enjoyed the first UK rider winning the Tour de France and then we had a great time in London for the Olympics, watching the road race, time trial and a day spent in the Olympic Park:
But most of all what is apparent on looking back to 2010 was the sense of despondency that I felt over the recession; admittedly things still aren’t brilliant but they’re better than they were and hey, we’re still here.
So, onwards and upwards, and I wish all of my readers, tweeting pals and FB friends a very prosperous and happy New year and 2013.
