I noticed with interest over the weekend that Hozier is doing the right thing with his proposed new house in Wicklow:
Rather than building a new ‘Mansion’; Hozier has done the right thing by utilising an existing property with several of the features adhering to the planning tips I gave a while back (the key one on utilising an existing property HERE):
• Planning Permission for a new house in Wicklow is nigh on impossible – developing in this way is a sensible route
• The house when completed will look just as good, even better than a sparkly new house!
• The glazed swimming pool and link to the reused barn (at the rear) creates a distinct separation between old and new
• The sedum roof is particularly up our street – pop-in ‘sedum’ in the right-hand search box to see how much we’ve alreday written on grass roofs.
Well done Hozier!
